In this article I’ll tell you about “Barcelona-Inter: an incredible match that ended 3-3”, the end of the journey to discover England, Wales and Andorra.
How to reach Barcelona?
After starting the journey with stops in Bristol (find out the article here), Swansea (find out the article here), Cardiff (find out the article here), Leeds (find out the article here), York (find out the article here) and Newcastle (find out the article here), I decided to use two planes (Newcastle-Dublin and Dublin-Barcelona) and a bus (Barcelona-Andorra) to reach Andorra la Vella (find out the article here). I returned to Barcelona by bus in the afternoon of the same day as the match.
First steps in the city
Arriving by bus in Barcelona, I immediately headed to the hostel I had booked for that night. At a fast pace because I didn’t have much time both to change and then to reach the stadium.
Preparations in the guest sector of the Camp Nou stadium
Despite everything, I managed to arrive at the stadium early and easily enter the away sector. The latter was located in the highest part of the Camp Nou stadium but, despite everything, the match was clearly visible. Since at the beginning the flow to the stadium was still slow, I decided to take a few shots to document my presence on this evening, historic in its own way…
Barcelona-Inter: a draw that is almost equivalent to a victory
It turned out to be an absurd match in some respects: a lot of goals and in the end a 3-3 draw which was almost equivalent to a victory. Why this? The answer is simple: the fate of going through to the next round depended solely on the Nerazzurri team with the next two matches in the group 🙂
