Belfast: sixth stop of the journey towards Manchester, Scotland and Ireland (Northern and Eire)
- City center and surroundings
- Excursion outside Belfast: Giant’s Causeway
- Extra (not to be missed!) of Belfast
How did I get to Belfast from Glasgow? Simple: I used the bus + ship option which, in about 6 hours, made me reach the capital of Northern Ireland. The bus took me to Cairnryan where there was the terminal with all the procedures for boarding were carried out.
The journey by ferry and subsequent bus took about 3 hours. When I arrived in Belfast I had to walk quite a bit because, like in Glasgow (find out the article here), the hostel was not located in the city center.
To start getting an idea of the places and views that I was able to admire, I invite you to watch the video below containing the most significant images of this experience.
City center and surroundings
During this stage of the journey, in addition to the excursion which I will talk about in the next paragraph, I had the opportunity to take a long walk including the city center and its surroundings. I managed to do the most interesting shots in the area of the Titanic museum,
town hall,
cathedral and, last but not least, the famous murals located in various parts of the city.

Excursion outside Belfast: Giant’s Causeway
During this one stop in Northern Ireland, in addition to the city center, I had the chance to see one of the most famous and well-known places in all of Northern Ireland: the Giant’s Causeway.
Extra (not to be missed!) of Belfast
After this brief overview of the stop in Belfast, aren’t you curious to go beyond simple images to better understand the travel experience? No problem, here is a preview of the places mentioned above.
