Brussels and the rest of the country

I managed to glimpse the capital, Brussels, the time I passed through there on my way to Breda, in the Netherlands. On another low-cost weekend trip to Riga, I managed to take a walk in Charleroi while waiting for the second flight of the day. Subsequently, with the ship, I managed to visit both Bruges (Brugge) and Gent (Gand).

How did I get to Belgium?

In addition to short passages during my travels, I had this incredible opportunity while on board Costa Pacifica during my last contract on board during the positioning cruise to Northern Europe. I reached this place with a Costa Cruises excursion from the port of Zeebrugge: a Belgian style day 😃

Will I ever go to this place?

I have always liked geography and, therefore, I had already heard about this place and where it is located. But it’s one of those places that you think, “Will I ever go to this place?” And the answer is “Yes” :)
