The new year begins and I could not start except with an article where I explain if it is worth starting to write a blog in 2023 🙂

1. It is always a good time to start a blog

The first thing to remember is that it is always time to start if a person believes in what is doing like in this case by writing a blog.

2. The algorithms thank you (also with a blog in 2023)

A detail to consider is that by starting to write new content even the algorithms thank you. And why? The answer is simple: you give them work to do always remembering that the contents must be of quality and optimized.

3. Idea/Ideas that others haven’t

One of the reasons to start blogging (even in 2023!) is that you can get an idea that others haven’t and, over time, be rewarded for the novelty.

4. Insights that others don’t

Consequently in the previous point there is the deepening of arguments concerning ideas that others don’t have.

5. Teach something

All this leads to teaching something. And why am I writing this? The answer is simple: many people search the web for information to always learn something new. And isn’t that an achievable goal if you dig deeper into ideas on topics that others haven’t had before? 🙂

6. Be more visible beyond social

Starting a blog also makes your social media visibility higher and vice versa. With different objectives but it is always an “extra” that can be obtained.

7. The stroke of luck and you become famous

And who knows that by starting to write a blog then many people will read it and become famous? It doesn’t have to be the primary goal (indeed, perhaps it doesn’t really have to be a goal) but you never know that the so-called stroke of luck will come.

8. Niche readers on niche topics

In the previous point I wrote that, at a time, it happens that many read a blog. But there is always to consider how to weigh that “many”. They may be a few hundred (the famous niche) and not millions but strongly interested in your content. And what is the result? The answer is simple: few but good 🙂
It may not be millions but it may be that they start reading all the past articles and will continue into the future.

9. Language constantly updated

An aspect rarely considered is that writing a blog helps to keep constantly updated on the language used. In the sense of verbal forms, grammar, syntax, etc.
I would say that’s a good reason to start writing 🙂

10. The most important reason to start a blog in 2023

After the roundup of the first 9 reasons to start a blog in 2023, here is the tenth, perhaps the most important! What is it about? The answer is simple: existing blogs may not necessarily be the best 🙂
Think carefully: when you browse the web, do you find the answer to all your questions on a specific topic? If the answer is “No” then point 10 is correct!

Absolutely don’t start writing a blog in 2023 if…
