Bus direction Tromsø

After the train ride from Abisko to Narvik (find out the article here), with my luggage I quickly headed towards the center to go to the bus stop towards Tromsø.

To start getting an idea of the places and views that I was able to admire, I invite you to watch the video below containing the most significant images of this experience.

Sit back and look at the landscape in front of you (and/or from the side)

What does this bus trip consist of? The answer is simple and it is the same as the previous trains: you sit down and, until you arrive in Tromsø, you are glued to the landscapes of Norwegian Lapland.

In reality, at some point along the way, darkness begins to fall. So, you can also get distracted for a moment because you hardly see the outside. All this considering the bus to Tromsø which left Narvik a few minutes after 1 pm.

Bus direction Tromsø: reservation, at the last moment, via the app

The difference of the 2 previous train journeys (to Abisko and Narvik), where it was possible to book online, here, and in subsequent bus trips, the booking takes place just before getting on via the app (or on board). This is because you can only use the ticket within a well-defined time frame. And, what’s more, you only book the ticket, not the seat.

Bus direction Tromsø: which seat to choose?

For the seat, therefore, it depends on how many people there are in the bus. The bus was almost empty and so I placed myself on the first floor facing the front. Why this choice? The answer is simple: to have a complete view of the panorama (as you could see from the shots of the previous video). Luckily it was a double bus (I think about 80 seats) so anyone who has been beating around the bush found a seat anyway :D

Extra (not to be missed!) of bus direction Tromsø
