In this article I’ll tell you about the stop in Cardiff during the journey to discover England, Wales and Andorra.

How to get to Cardiff?
After starting the journey with stops in Bristol (find out the article here) and Swansea (find out the article here), I decided to also use the bus to reach the next destination. There was also the possibility of taking the train but both for timetables and costs I preferred to opt for another choice.
First time in Wales
Before this time in Swansea and Cardiff, I had never been to this part of the UK 😛
First steps in the city
As soon as I got off the bus I tried to photograph what I saw around me: Friary Gardens.
I was also near the castle but I preferred to head into the pedestrian area of the city to reach the Anglican church St John The Baptist City Parish Church.
Millenium Stadium in Cardiff
Between its gardens and the nearby city museum, I snuck into the city alleys to see one of the most well-known places in the world for both athletes and non-athletes: the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.
Emblem of this city and often associated with the Welsh national rugby team, it also hosts matches of the Welsh national football team, concerts and tours of the same facility.
I managed to photograph it and film it from various positions even following the banks of the River Taff.
Cardiff Castle and surroundings
After crossing the Sophia Gardens and the Cardiff Bridge, I had the opportunity to observe the long Animal Wall before reaching the Cardiff Castle area.
I went in as far as possible to take shots of my surroundings 🙂
Other places of interest in the city
Wandering around the center I also admired the Town Hall and the National Museum and the university area of the city.
Final destination of the trip: Barcelona
The final destination of this trip is Barcelona, more precisely the Camp Nou, to attend the (already decisive?) match of the Champions League group 🙂
