Cork: tenth stop of the journey towards Manchester, Scotland and Ireland (Northern and Eire)

After less than an hour and a half by train (which I almost missed, as told in the article of Killarney) I arrived in Cork. A city that I have often heard of both people who have been there for study/work and for tourism. Since it was the last stop of the trip and I had 4 full days available, I organized myself to participate in 3 excursions.

City center
In addition to the classic walk in the very center of the city, I walked up to the Cathedral of Saint Fin Barre. Then, a photo of one of the branches of the Ree river is not to be missed.
Excursions from Cork: Kinsale & West Cork, Kilkenny & Cashel, Blarney Castle & Cobh
I can say, in retrospect (but also when I was there), that in Cork I was able to see a lot of places thanks to the excursions. A castle (specifically, that of Blarney),
a fortress (specifically, the Rock of Cashel),
quaint villages such as Cobh and Kinsale,
a city (specifically, Kilkenny), a rural region (specifically, West Cork). A mix of landscapes, history, translations and folklore.
In fact, I have been to Cobh twice: the first time with the excursion (which also includes Blarney Castle); the second time, the following day to visit Costa Mediterranea colleagues, docked just that day in port.
