After writing the article of “My life aboard Costa Cruises” on this ship, I dedicate a separate one for the Costa Venezia’s baptism.
Let’s say that it is an event that, most likely, is also difficult to describe. Why? The answer is simple: it’s part of one of those experiences in life that you try to live to the fullest but then it’s difficult to explain/write it in words :)

Here I propose some shots of that day of celebrations at the Teatro Rosso.

In every self-respecting party, the fireworks couldn’t be missing when a certain one was made in Trieste. It was a show full of colors and pyrotechnic scenography. I remember that I went to the dock with a tripod to be able to take both interesting shots and videos. I preferred (I don’t know if I did it right or wrong!) To make a speeded up video of the show. So, in seconds, you too have the chance to see the fireworks show :)

Furthermore, before departure (and the Baptism of Costa Venezia), I was able to take a complete tour of the ship by creating this video which, at the time, contained unpublished images of the ship. Obviously unpublished not to us who were preparing the event and the ship for the next 53-day trip (find the article here) from Trieste to Tokyo :D

Did taking the tripod to the dock do any good?

Ah, I forgot! Of the evening on the quay waiting for the fireworks, I remember that there were many people for the event. A particular memory of my shots is related to the following photo since I didn’t bring the tripod at all :D
I always remember that it’s hard to take good pictures, let alone at night with all those lights coming from the ship changing every three seconds. Let’s say that the shot satisfied me :)
