Back in Alta (find out the article here), I embarked for the cruise direction Bergen. I was aboard the MS Lofoten, one of the ships (now decommissioned) of the Hurtigruten shipping company.
In short, the famous postal of the fjords.

Again night in Alta: was it destiny?
In reality, the ship would not depart that afternoon/evening but the following morning. So why not take the opportunity to hunt for the Northern Lights? The answer is obvious and so is the location!
Since the ship’s dock is not that close to the city, I had to take a hike to get to the right location. Reached and stationed with tripod and reflex, incredibly, I saw the Northern Lights in the same place where I had already been :)

Starting with the ship in the direction of Bergen, the thing that surprised me (and for me it was strange) was the frequency of landing in the ports. On some days there were several stops of a few minutes and then left immediately. For me, however, a stop in a port meant at least hours :D
It can be said that it is a journey (a story) to remember with the 3Ps: panoramas, people and, as mentioned, ports!

It’s inevitable not to stress the fact that this type of experience is accompanied by photographs and videos. What is the “problem“? Try to figure out when to sleep! Because? The answer is simple: during the day you can admire the landscapes offered by the various Norwegian fjords and, at night, you can wait for the Northern Lights.
Between docked ports and canceled ports
As mentioned before, the stops are many and the main ones I remember were: Hammerfest, Tromsø, Sortland, Svolvær (Lofoten), Brønnøysund, Molde. Due to force majeure, the first part from Kirkenes to Alta was skipped (among other things, it was the one that interested me the most!) And, during the journey along the fjords, always due to the weather, also Trondheim.
Final stop: Bergen
The final landing stage was Bergen (find out the article here) and this meant the end of the trip to Lapland and the Norwegian fjords :(
