After exploring the island of Aegina (Αίγινα) (find out the article here) and returning by ferry to Piraeus to take the train “From Athens to Kalambaka with Hellenic Train” (find out the article here), I reached Kalambaka (Καλαμπάκα) (find out the article here), the closest city to support the visit of the Meteora Monasteries (find out the article here). Subsequently I moved “From Kalambaka to Heraklion by bus and ferry” (find out the article here) to reach the island of Crete, more precisely, Heraklion (find out the article here) where I started the Costa Venezia cruise in Heraklion (find out the article here).

Disembarking at the end of the itinerary is always the worst moment of the cruise because you have to leave a place of new knowledge, discoveries and relaxation to return to “normal” life.
