GORIZIA 2025: European Capital of Culture
I dedicate this article to Gorizia 2025. Chosen as European Capital of Culture for that year, in cohabitation with the Slovenian city of Nova Gorica and together with the German city of Chemnitz.

How did I discover Gorizia 2025?
I had already heard of it but when I was in Gorizia (find out the article here) I saw the logo present in different parts of the city.
European Capitals of Culture
Around Europe I happened to visit other cities, past or future European Capitals of Culture. For example, I had the chance to go and discover Rijeka (read the article here) which at that time was one of the European Capitals of Culture 2020. Then, for obvious reasons, the event was postponed to 2021. On the previous trip before Lapland, during the experience in Scotland and Ireland, I had the opportunity to see the other capital that had been chosen for 2020: Galway (find out the article here).
On the trip to Lapland, however, in Estonia, I was in Tartu which will be in 2024 (find out the article here) and, in Finland, in Oulu which will be in 2026 (find out the article here).
