Guernsey

- How did I get to Guernsey?
- Will I ever go to these remote places?
- Extra (not to be missed!)
In this article I talk about Guernsey. A place located in the English Channel and, to most people, unknown either because it has never been visited or because it is difficult to place on the globe.
Disembarkation at anchor
I arrived on the island with the launch after a landing at anchor.
I remember that there was an uncertain day from the meteorological point of view but then a beautiful sun also came out and the landscape also benefited, as you can see in this photo.

How did I get to Guernsey?
I had this incredible opportunity while on board the Costa Pacifica during the positioning cruise to northern Europe. Before reaching the Kiel summer base for cruises to the fjords (including the North Cape) and the Baltic itinerary, we also stopped at this place on the English Channel.
Will I ever go to these remote places?
I have always liked geography and, therefore, I had already heard about this place and where it is. But it is part of one of those places that you think: “Will I ever go to these remote places?”. And the answer is “Yes” :)
A bit like it happened with the Faroe Islands (find out the article here)
Extra (not to be missed!) of Guernsey
After this brief overview of Guernsey, aren’t you curious to go beyond simple images to better understand the travel experience lived before this stage? No problem, here is a preview of the places mentioned above.
