What is experience?

This term can be explained in several ways. One of these, for example, is the knowledge of a specific part of reality that occurred through direct contact with it.

Specifically, what is it for?

It allows people to deal with circumstances and situations having different variables at play with attitudes that are suitable/adequate to the context. It serves to implement a skill that is needed in everyday life and is called problem solving. This also serves to contain emotions and reactions in stressful situations (both on a mental and physical level).

In simple words: you have already seen/experienced a specific situation other times then the experience helps you understand how it could end/continue 🙂

“Having experience” in tourism

In the world of tourism, there could be many examples. One of these is, for example, having worked a certain number of years in a tourist location (or tourist attraction) or having undertaken a certain aspect of tourism or travel numerous times. I remind you once again that tourism and travel are not the same thing and, consequently, neither are tourists and travellers.
