Lesser known places: Lantau Island

I spent a few hours on this island. I remember that many colleagues on board were attracted to seeing the central area and its skyscrapers. I, on the other hand, was more focused on the lesser-known places.
And what was the result? The answer is simple: I had the opportunity to see and learn about the island of Lantau, an unknown and particular place. I also remember that all the guests were super happy with this experience.

How did I get to Hong Kong?

I had this incredible opportunity while on board Costa Venezia during the inaugural cruise from Trieste to Tokyo. Before reaching the Japanese capital and (at the time!) leaving the ship at the Asian market, I also stopped here :)

Will I ever go to this place?

I have always liked geography and, therefore, I had already heard about this place and where it is located. But it’s one of those places that you think, “Will I ever go to this place?” And the answer is “Yes” :)
