How to reach Palermo?

After the stop in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (find out the article here), I undertook the part of the journey by train to reach the capital of Sicily as described in the previous article “Train direction Palermo” (find out the article here).

Why this trip?

When I thought about how to organize this trip, the real motivation was to reach Palermo for the playoff match at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Italy-North Macedonia in Palermo: being in history!

In its own way, I participated in a historic event: for the second time in a row the Italian national football team did not qualify for the World Cup. It’s a shame not for this evening but, fortunately, I decided to embark on an incredible journey that allowed me to grasp other non-negative aspects 🙂
