Incredible experiences

In my two times in this land, I had the chance to discover two very famous locations throughout the world: Petra and the Wadi Rum desert.
On the first occasion, in addition to the bus transfer from the port of Aqaba, I undertook the walk inside the site with the inevitable selfie with a local resident :D

In the second discovery, I traveled a stretch with a vintage train and subsequent representation of an assault on the convoy.

How did I get to Jordan?

I had this incredible opportunity while on board the Costa neoRiviera during the positioning cruise from Venice to Malè (Maldives). Furthermore, I also returned with Costa Venezia during the inaugural cruise from Trieste to Tokyo. In both cases, in addition to the Aqaba stop, the ship also stopped near Eilat, Israel.

Will I ever go to this place?

I have always liked geography and, therefore, I had already heard about this place and where it is located. But it’s one of those places that you think, “Will I ever go to this place?” And the answer is “Yes” :)
