Kalambaka
In this article I’ll tell you about the Kalambaka stop during the journey to discover Greece and Turkey both with and without a cruise.

How to reach Kalambaka?
After the exploration of Aegina (Αίγινα) (find out the article here), the area of the Archaeological Museum (Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Αίγινας) where the Temple of Apollo (Ναός του Α) is located πόλλωνος) (find out the article here), the Church and the Holy Monastery of the Holy Trinity (Ιερά Μονή Αγίας Τριάδος – Αγίου Νεκταρίου Αιγίνης) (find out the article here), the archaeological site of Palaiochora in Aegina (Αρχαιολογικός Χώρος Παλαιοχώρας Αίγινας) (find out the article here), the Temple of Aphaia in Aegina (Ναός της Αφαίας) (find out the article here), I decided to reach, on the other side of the island, Agia Marina in Aegina (Αγ. Μαρίνα) (find out the article here), I took the ferry “From Aegina to Athens with Saronic Ferries” (find out the article here) and then the train “From Athens to Kalambaka with Hellenic Train” (find out the article here) to reach this destination 🙂
First steps in the city
As soon as I arrived at my destination I decided to take the opportunity to take a walk in the center and, from there, reach the Holy Church of the Holy Fathers Meteorite (Ιερός Ναός Οσίων Μετεωριτών Πατέρων), one of the best-known places of interest in the entire city.
