After 10 hours by bus from Alta (find out the article here), I finally arrived at AMFI Kirkenes. Arrived there, I waited for my 2 couchsurfers who then took me to their accommodation a little outside the city, that is to Elvenes.

Since the darkness was already advanced, after placing the luggage, I preferred to wait a few more hours to see if there was also the Northern Lights there. To tell the truth, having already seen her the evening/night before in Alta, I could take it easy :)
I did a stretch on foot to look for an area that was almost completely in the dark but appeared in a slightly visible way partially only with the reflex. The clearest and most dazzling light I saw was the blue one from the bridge in the photo (E105 Bøkfjordbrua) :D

The next day, the rerouting flight back to Alta would be at 2.35 pm. So I decided to get dropped off in the center of Kirkenes and take a little walk before going to Kirkenes taxi AS and be taken to the airport. As you could already see in the previous video, I managed to capture several shots. From the public library (Sør-Varanger bibliotek) I headed to the port. Port where the fjords post ship should have been. A few minutes and a few shots and then I head towards the town church (Kirkenes kirke). Afterwards, stroll in the pedestrian area to also cross the Lekeplass. Obviously full of snow.
