Limerick: eighth stop of the journey towards Manchester, Scotland and Ireland (Northern and Eire)
Just over an hour by bus and I reached Limerick. During the bus trip, of course, I was able to admire the landscapes that every single movement of this trip gave.

City center and surroundings
In this stage, the difference from the others is that I had to stay in a hotel (I could not find hostels). As soon as the formal paperwork was resolved, I immediately went for my patrolling walk among statues, rivers, castles and parks :)
After meeting these statues and crossing the bridge I came to Westfields Wetlands park. Here I walked a short distance and I had the feeling of not being a few meters from a city but in the middle of a swamp dispersed in who knows what part of Ireland (or any other state).
Continuing my long walk, I reached the church of Saint Munchin and, next to it, the stone of the Treaty of Limerick.
King John’s Castle a Limerick
Looking across the river I could see one of the places worthy of being photographed by those who visit this city: King John’s Castle.
