During the stage of Desenzano (find out the article here), after having met Sirmione (find out the article here), the following day, I went to the discovery of Limone sul Garda and Salò.
To start getting an idea of the places and views that I was able to admire, I invite you to watch the video below containing the most significant images of this experience.
How to reach Limone sul Garda?
I woke up at dawn and took the first bus towards Salò where I changed the bus and took the one towards Riva del Garda. Normally it is also possible to find the direct bus (without change) but it was still non-school period (Christmas holidays) and, therefore, this option has failed.
Downhill towards the port
To tell the truth, I wanted to spend the whole day here because I had seen from various maps that there are a lot of interesting things to see/photograph/film but the weather was bad. So, braving the rain, I went down to the lakeside promenade of Garda.
However I managed to take a walk through the characteristic alleys of the village and see the church of San Benedetto.
Even if it is not summer, something special is still found
Given the still Christmas period I had the opportunity to see more decorations of the period.
At least I was able to see something special that is not possible to see during the busy summer months :D
A shot that could not miss
Given the name of the place, a photo of the village could not be missing (to be posted on social networks!) with the fruit that gives it its name in front of it :P
Hiking trails from Limone sul Garda
While I was waiting for the return bus towards Salò, I had the opportunity to take a look at the map of the trails in front of the Limonese Tourist Consortium. I must say that I have found trails for all the needs of tourists/excursionists/travelers who want to undertake hiking and/or trekking routes.
Then?
On the same day I reached Salò where at the beginning I found incessant rain but then it passed and I was able to do a mini tour of the glimpses of this place (find out the article here).
