Fly cheaply
Like many, you may think that flying is a very expensive travel/tourism/holiday option. And instead, I can surprise you. Browsing through periodic offers from various airlines, both low-cost and non-low-cost, you will realize that sometimes it is cheaper than you might think.
An example is the low-cost airline Volotea which also offers in a range between 10 and 24 euros with luggage to be stored under the seat included. For other additional services (hand baggage, hold baggage, seat choice, etc.) the price varies.
If you are a true traveller, all you need is the small luggage included 😛
Megavolotea (2023): saving program
If you want to save even more, there is the Megavolotea program. At the time of writing (December 2022) the price is €59.99 per year. Among the numerous services that this program offers, I would like to point out 3 (also valid for up to 4 travel companions): the first is that you can, up to 7 days before the originally booked flight, change the date without paying penalties (only any differences price if the new flight costs more than the previous one); the second is that 10kg hand luggage is always included for any flight; the third is that there are offers dedicated to members and, periodically, you can find routes with flights for €9.
