Once on the shores of the lake, more precisely in Iseo (find out the article here), I reached Monte Isola by boat

How to reach Monte Isola?
As written before, I took the boat from Iseo which took me to the island. More precisely, I got off at the first of the stops on the island, that is Sensole.
The same boat, before this stop, had also docked in Predore, on the opposite shore of the lake from Iseo.
The walk begins
Once in Sensole, the first thing to do was decide where to go. It had already begun in the afternoon and therefore I did not have many hours of light available. Having faced the first uphill stretches of road, I decided to reach the Torre Rocca Martinengo as the first stop.

After the first stage, I felt fit enough to tackle climbs and trails to reach the highest part of the island and also have panoramic views of my surroundings. So, back in the Molazze area, I started the walk again (uphill!) crossing on my left first the church of Menzino then the church of San Severino (in the locality of Senzano). Continuing the climb I crossed the village of Cure from where I took the path
that would have led me to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola.
Descent towards the pier (not the same!)
After the usual photos/filming of the surrounding landscape,
After the usual photos/filming of the surrounding landscape, I decided to take the descent towards the pier. It wasn’t dark yet but the afternoon was passing and I didn’t want to risk staying in the middle of the paths during the evening :D
The strange thing I remember is that the sign indicated (if I remember correctly) 80 minutes to reach Peschiera Maraglio while it took me about 50-55. So much so that people who had left the sanctuary before me and were waiting for the bus to the pier, in the end, arrived in Peschiera Maraglio after me :D
“The Floating Piers” of Monte Isola
Arriving at the landing stage, I came across the blow-ups of the famous floating bridge (The Floating Piers) which had been created in the summer of 2016. Seeing those images, I came to mind this particular event that happened in the past.

I took the boat to leave Monte Isola, I reached Sulzano.
From there, I took the train that took me in a short time to Iseo and from there I reached Sarnico. The next day, I decided to go to Bergamo (find out the article here).
