Introduction
After the incredible adventure following Inter Milan at the FIFA Club World Cup held in the United States between June and July, and the Italian national team in Debrecen, Hungary, it was time for another trip to follow the Champions League European away match in Amsterdam 🙂
Part One: Traveling through the Netherlands
Returning from the away match at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, a few days later I took a flight from Venice-Treviso to Eindhoven. Before continuing on to the Dutch capital, I decided to stop and explore the city where my flight was headed. This is because I’ve passed through Eindhoven several times, but only at the airport and not in the city itself.
Ajax-Inter in Amsterdam
Then, I took the Flixbus to Amsterdam. In the Dutch capital, I was able to witness the first match (with a 2-0 victory!) of the new Champions League season. 🙂
Part Two: Traveling through Belgium
After leaving Amsterdam, I took the bus to discover two Belgian cities: Antwerp and Liège.
Then, I took the bus to Charleroi, where my flight to Verona awaited me for my return to Italy.
The journey continues…
Next trip is “SARDINIA IN THE SECOND HALF OF SEPTEMBER: a late-summer photographic journey” (find out the article here).
