What is it about? Read on and you’ll find out…
To start getting an idea of the places and views that I was able to admire, I invite you to watch the video below containing the most significant images of this experience.
How to reach Oristano?
After the previous stop in Iglesias (find out the article here), I took the bus and train to reach the next Sardinian city on the trip.
First steps in the city
After leaving the train station, given the little time available, I quickly walked towards Torre di Portixedda.
From there, I entered the alleys of the city to reach the area of the Romanesque Church of Santa Chiara and its Monastery.
Piazza Roma and surroundings
Moving to the other side of the city center, I reached Piazza Roma where I was able to admire the Tower of San Cristoforo or Mariano II and, not far away, the Parish Church of San Sebastiano Martire.
Piazza Duomo in Oristano
Having crossed Corso Umberto I, the main pedestrian street of this Sardinian city, also glancing left towards Piazzetta Corrias, I reached Piazza Eleonora d’Arborea.
Not far from there I came across the Church of San Francesco and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in the Piazza Duomo area.
The journey continues…
The next stop on the itinerary was Bosa (find out the article here).
