How to reach Panarea?
After the previous stop in Ginostra (discover the article here), I reached this destination by hydrofoil. Let’s say that the options on how to reach this Aeolian island were not that many 😛
Punta del Corvo
From the island port I walked towards the Church of San Pietro in Panarea. Why in this direction? The answer is simple: nearby, the path begins that leads to Punta del Corvo within the Isola di Panarea and Scogli Viciniori Oriented Nature Reserve.
There is no need to write many words regarding the views of the island from here: better look at the following photo 🙂
From up to down
From the panoramic point of the summit, on the way back to the other side, I was able to admire the Cala Bianca beach, Punta Scritta and the Scoglio La Nave. I also passed near Calcara Beach but it was dark and I saw very little.
Towards the beach and beyond…
The following day, still in the direction of the Church of San Pietro, I continued towards the Drautto Bay. Obviously, that wasn’t the final destination so I continued towards Spiaggia Cala Zimmari.
Prehistoric village in Panarea
At that point, I couldn’t stop right now, so, I headed towards the Prehistoric Village.
In that area I was able to admire the Cala Junco beach and the view of the Scoglio Brigantino.
Unmissable, as you can see, is a shot of the Cala del Morto beach.
