The fourth stop on the journey of “15 Places in 5 days” was Parma.

How to reach Parma?

I reached this destination directly by train like the previous day stops. In fact, it would be better to use the term in the plural since more than one is used :)

Leaving the station, I began my walk along the avenue I found for myself (viale Paolo Toschi) keeping the stream on the right and turning left in the area of the Farnese Theater and the National Gallery of Parma. I went into the passages of Palazzo della Pilotta and, there in the park, also see the Monument to Giuseppe Verdi.

From there, I decided to reach one of the best known areas of this city: Piazza del Duomo. Why this choice? The answer is simple: to be able to photograph/film the Cathedral of Parma and the Baptistery. And a few steps further on is the Church of San Giovanni Evangelista.

After wandering through the alleys of the city and having first passed the Teatro Regio and then the Basilica of Santa Maria della Steccata, I arrived at the Governor’s Palace.

At that point, I decided to return to the creek area to go and see the Ducal Park. Inside, immediately on the right, I was able to admire the Ducal Palace of Parma

and, continuing straight, I headed towards the Tempietto d’Arcadia. From there, you could see the small lake with the Trianon Fountain in the center.

At that point, after taking a little look at the various fauna present near the body of water, I resumed the way back to the train station.
