During my third day of stay in Verona (find out the article here), I decided to go and see Peschiera del Garda.

To start getting an idea of the places and views that I was able to admire, I invite you to watch the video below containing the most significant images of this experience.

How to get to Peschiera del Garda?

To reach this location I had two options: train or bus. The first is a very fast transfer, about 13 minutes while the second about three times the time because, more or less, 42 minutes. On the way I took the bus while on the way back I took the train so as not to make a difference :)
Note that they both arrive at the same place as the bus stops in front of the train station.

Porta Verona: entrance to Peschiera del Garda

I set out to reach the center and the first interesting thing to photograph that I found was the Porta Verona and its compositions in front of it.

Continuing along the main road, leaving the Catullo park on my right and seeing the Voltoni bridge on the left, I arrived in the middle channel.

There, I stopped to admire (and obviously photograph/film) the Lake nativity. What is it about? The answer is simple: an underwater nativity scene :)

From door to door

I continued through the narrow streets of the city and I came to another door: Porta Brescia.

I turned left and, after a short walk, I reached Piazza Ferdinando di Savoia where the imposing parish church of San Martino Vescovo dominates.

Direction Lake Garda

After a few shots I decided to head towards the lake after having crossed the Tognon Bastion and having seen the fortifications of the city.
Although the day was not excellent from the point of view of the weather, I could see the lighthouse in the distance.
