How to reach Cagliari?
After the previous stop in Mazara del Vallo (find out the article here), I undertook the part of the journey by train to reach Palermo again and board the ship towards Sardinia.

After having taken a tour of the city of Cagliari (find out the article here), the following day, I decided to go and see one of its best-known beaches: Spiaggia del Poetto (Poetto Beach). Known not only throughout Sardinia but also throughout Italy.
To tell the truth, before reaching this place I also stopped at Calamosca Beach. From the following photo the weather seemed to bring sunshine and clear skies…
And instead, it was unstable. Really?
Not an ideal day to be at the beach
What I was telling you is demonstrated by the following photo.
Only a few minutes had passed from the previous beach and, instead, it seems to be a shot from another day compared to that day at the end of March.
Poetto Tower and Devil Saddle
In the background you can glimpse the Poetto Tower located on the Sella del Diavolo (Devil Saddle), a promontory reachable via paths and which offers a view from above of the sea and the surrounding views.
