I dedicate this article to Procida 2022. Chosen as the Italian Capital of Culture for the current year.

How did I discover Procida 2022?

During the journey that included the stage in Procida (discover the article here), I had some visible signs directly on the island :D
In any case, I was already aware of it since, on the net and television, when dealing with the theme of tourism and/or travel, this island is somehow mentioned!

How to reach Procida?

From Naples, where I was staying, I took the hydrofoil at Molo Beverello which took me directly to the island. Another option can be inquiring about any departures from Pozzuoli.

European Capitals of Culture

Around Europe I happened to visit other cities, past or future European Capitals of Culture. For example, I had the chance to go and discover Rijeka (read the article here) which at that time was one of the European Capitals of Culture 2020. Then, for obvious reasons, the event was postponed to 2021. On the previous trip before Lapland, during the experience in Scotland and Ireland, I had the opportunity to see the other capital that had been chosen for 2020: Galway (find out the article here).
On the trip to Lapland, however, in Estonia, I was in Tartu which will be in 2024 (find out the article here) and, in Finland, in Oulu which will be in 2026 (find out the article here).
