In this article I’ll tell you about the stop in Rhodes during the cruise that allowed me to discover Greece and Turkey.

How to reach Rhodes?
The same day in which I returned to Venice from the Czech Republic in the morning, in the evening I took the flight to reach the island of Crete. I was in Plzeň (find out the article here) to see “Viktoria Plzeň-Inter match: full result in the Czech away match!” (find out the article here) and before reaching the airport I also took a trip to the center of Prague by night (find out the article here) to get some souvenir shots of the Czech capital at night. So, I reached Heraklion (Heraklion) from Venice but it’s as if I reached it from Prague 😛
There I boarded Costa Venezia in Heraklion (find out the article here) to start the cruise in which this destination was also included in the itinerary.
Two steps near the port
After the excursion which included a visit to the Butterfly Valley (find out the article here), I decided to take a walk in the medieval part of the city and then continue in the area of the Colossus of Rhodes and the mills.
