How to reach Sant’Antioco?
After the previous stop in Cagliari (find out the article here) and its Poetto beach (find out the article here), I undertook the part of the journey by bus to reach the southern part of Sardinia.
In the direction of Sant’Antioco Island
From the bus in question I already had the opportunity to admire the landscapes and glimpses of this place as I continued to approach the island.
Along the current road which features the remains of the Ancient Roman Road and the Roman Bridge of ancient Sulki, one of the most important cities in the Western Mediterranean.
Tourist Port of Calasetta
After also passing near the centre, the public transport went as far as Calasetta where there was a ferry boarding point for Carloforte, on the island of San Pietro.
Having some time available while waiting for sea transport, I also decided to take a short tour of the Tourist Port of Calasetta.
The journey continues…
The next stop on the itinerary was “Ferry towards Carloforte” (find out the article here).
