SICILY-SARDINIA-TUSCANY: an incredible journey through 3 regions

In this article, I’ll tell you about the journey to discover Sicily-Sardinia-Tuscany, which began in Bologna and ended in Milano.
What’s it all about? Read on to find out…

Previous trips to Sicily, Sardinia and Tuscany

Before this new adventure, I took two other trips that I recommend you explore further if you haven’t already. 🙂
I’m talking about “6 PLACES IN SOUTHERN ITALY: a journey to discover Campania, Calabria and Apulia” (find out the article here) and “15 PLACES IN 5 DAYS: an incredible journey to discover 4 regions” (find out the article here).

Sicily Itinerary

The journey began with the first stop in Bologna (find out the article here).
As you might guess from the title, the subsequent stops were divided between three regions.
In Sicily, I was able to explore Milazzo (find out the article here) and the Aeolian Islands as my first stops. Luckily, I was able to visit all of them, and you can read more about them in the following articles: Stromboli (find out the article here), Ginostra (find out the article here), Panarea (find out the article here), Salina (find out the article here), Lipari (find out the article here), Vulcano (find out the article here), Alicudi (find out the article here), and Filicudi (find out the article here).
Back on the main island, I continued with stops in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (find out the article here), Palermo for the Italy-North Macedonia match (find out the article here) before moving on to the western part of Sicily, more precisely, Trapani (find out the article here), Marsala (find out the article here) and Mazara del Vallo (find out the article here).

Sardinia Itinerary

After passing through Palermo again to board the ferry to Sardinia, I then stopped in the capital Cagliari (find out the article here) before spending a few days in Carloforte (find out the article here) on the island of San Pietro, passing through Sant’Antioco (find out the article here).
Returning to the main island, I continued my exploration of Iglesias (find out the article here), Oristano (find out the article here), Bosa (find out the article here), Bosa Marina (find out the article here), Alghero (find out the article here), Sassari (find out the article here), and Olbia (find out the article here).

Tuscany Itinerary

After boarding the ferry in Olbia for Tuscany, I arrived in Livorno (find out the article here).
From there, I continued on to Pisa (find out the article here), Lucca (find out the article here), and Viareggio (find out the article here) before concluding my trip in Milan to attend the BIT (find out the article here).
