TALLINN 2011: European Capital of Culture
I dedicate this article to Tallinn 2011. Chosen as European Capital of Culture for that year together with the Finnish city of Turku.

How did I discover Tallinn 2011?
Simply surfing the web in search of the cities that have been or will be European Capitals of Culture, I also found this destination (find out the article here).
European Capitals of Culture
Around Europe I happened to visit other cities, past or future European Capitals of Culture. For example, I had the chance to go and discover Rijeka (read the article here) which at that time was one of the European Capitals of Culture 2020. Then, for obvious reasons, the event was postponed to 2021. On the previous trip before Lapland, during the experience in Scotland and Ireland, I had the opportunity to see the other capital that had been chosen for 2020: Galway (find out the article here).
On the trip to Lapland, however, in Estonia, I was in Tartu which will be in 2024 (find out the article here) and, in Finland, in Oulu which will be in 2026 (find out the article here).
