After the 3 nights in Abisko (find out the article here), I got up that morning, took my bags and went to the Abisko Östra station where the train direction Narvik was waiting for me (actually I waited, as always!).

Entering the carriage indicated to me on the reservation, I found myself in the midst of a group of tourists from the Far East. There, on the spot, I understood why when I booked, that wagon was almost full. I remember that there was not even a place to sit where I wanted :D
At that point I arranged the luggage so that the movements of the train did not fall and I headed to another compartment. There, at the moment there was no person and so I placed myself in the most suitable place to take photos/videos. Minutes go by and even there it begins to get crowded: even the others, albeit with a delay, have had the same idea as me!

What is this train journey about? The answer is simple and is the same as the previous one up to Abisko: you sit in the assigned seat (it is mandatory to reserve the seat by the window, better those on the right side!) And, until you arrive in Narvik, you are glued to stare at the landscapes of Swedish/Norwegian Lapland.

Actually, in my case, just before Narvik, you have to be lively and ready to go down. Why all this concern? Because the train was full of tourists and there wasn’t that much time between arriving by train and the next bus to Tromsø. If it weren’t for the fact that the bus stop didn’t coincide with the train’s arrival station.
