Second stop of the “Discovering Cyprus” trip was Nicosia during which, among the various monuments, I was also able to admire the Venetian Walls.

How to reach Nicosia?

From the previous stop, Paphos (find out the article here), I crossed much of the island by bus and reached the capital.

Continuing my walk in the Cypriot capital, I reached the Venetian Walls, buildings from the 16th century. Surrounded by different types of trees, it seemed like nature was protecting the walls and not the walls being a defensive fortification of what was around 😃

I spent a lot of time looking for the best position for the shots as they are impressive!

How did I find them?

Arriving in the Cypriot capital, as usual, I took my cell phone and looked at the maps to see the most interesting points to see and photograph. So simple 🙂
